Mr.Hui Liangyu, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China met with Mr. Kim Hak-Su,Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCAP in Beijing on 26 November 2003 on the occasion of the Second Session of the Governing Board Meeting of APCAEM. Mr.Hui expressed the firm support of the Chinese Government to APCAEM. He said:"China is a responsible country. We pay much attention to the development of APCAEM and will provide support as usual. As a member of international community, China is willing to make more contributions to the world peace and the welfare of the people. "
