Since the 1st annual meeting of the Asian and Pacific Network for Testing of Agricultural Machinery (ANTAM) held in September 2014, ANTAM has achieved substantive result by developing the first draft set of testing Codes for agricultural machinery that specifically target Asian countries¡¯ priorities. The ANTAM Codes are a dynamic process structured to integrate updates and reviews based on participating countries¡¯ feedback and technical contribution. To this end, the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM) and the China Agricultural Machinery Testing Centre (CAMTC) organized the 1st Regional Training of Trainers Programme on ANTAM Test Codes in Najing, China from 23 to 27 June 2015.

This training manual was prepared by Dr. Chan Chee-Wan and Dr. Jean-Paul David Douzals to facilitate the first trial implementation of ANTAM Codes by participating testing stations. Contents are based on ANTAM Standard Codes for Testing of Powered Knapsack Misters-Cum-Dusters developed at the 1st Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting of ANTAM held from 4 to 6 May 2015 in Serpong, Indonesia. The current ANTAM Codes will be submitted to the 2nd Annual Meeting of ANTAM for review and adoption in December 2015.
