The Regional Council of Agricultural Machinery Associations in Asia and the Pacific (ReCAMA) was established by CSAM in 2014 and the membership of the network has now expanded to 20 agricultural machinery manufacturer and distributor associations from 15 countries. ReCAMA aims to promote sustainable agricultural mechanization in Asia and the Pacific through strengthening the capacity of national agricultural machinery associations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and information, and enhancing collaboration and closer business connections among national associations and their members. Apart from an annual member meeting, visits to agricultural machinery exhibitions, business matching events and publication of research on national policies, a Training and Study Tour is organized annually in areas such as whole process mechanization; conservation agriculture and transplanting; precision agriculture and harvesting technologies of rice and maize; automation; solar-powered irrigation; and plant protection using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. More information including a list of network members is available at http://recama.un-csam.org/.
