The successful completion of the second phase of APCAEM project on Directory of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers by early June of 2006 has provided an opportunity for over 1000 agriculture manufacturers from 15 member countries of APCAEM to list on the APCAEM Directory of the Worldwide Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Directory (WAMED) (http://www.agmachine.com/apcaem). The link of "Agmachine Directory" on APCAEM homepage will also open the Directory. The Directory covers a full range of machinery and equipments of individual company, and directly links to the company website where available. Currently, WAMED receives between 35,000 and 45,000 visits per month from 100 countries worldwide. This has proven to be a very effective and quick-yielding solution, and will help the exposure of SMEs in the global machinery market. It is anticipated that this will lead to a significant increase in enquiries concerning individual company products, thereby expanding regional and global trade opportunities.
