To promote technical training and human resource development in the area of sustainable agricultural mechanization, CSAM periodically organizes regional/sub-regional training in collaboration with institutions in its host country China such as the Nanjing Institute for Agricultural Mechanization and the Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone of China. Some of the topics addressed through such training in the past have included mechanization for smallholder farmers, protected agriculture, strengthening the value chain through harvest and post-harvest mechanization, and climate smart mechanization for dryland agriculture.
